• VARD has been implementing Eye Care Services (VARD-ECS) through well established four Eye Hospitals located in Sylhet district, Sunamgonj district and Comilla district. These positions are based at VARD Eye Hospital, Iqbalnagar, Sunamganj.
  
• Job descriptions:
  
• Prepare OT for operation
  
• Assist the Eye Surgeon in operation
  
• Ensure autoclave
  
• Maintain Stock Register and update
  
• Sterilize of OT instrument and all types dress, Gaze etc.
  
• Perform duties at OPD as when required
  
• Ensure cleanness all OT instruments and equipments
  
• Perform other duties assigned by OT In-charge/ Eye Surgeon/ Hospital Manager

VARD is a national Non-Government Organization (NGO), established in January 20, 1988 with the initiative of founder and Executive Director and former UN volunteer Mr. Amranul Hoque Kamal. VARD runs major part of its integrated development activities in Sylhet division, northeast part of the country.
